Suzanne Zoumaras is an accomplished business leader and Human Capital Executive.

Suzanne’s current role is as EVP and Chief People and Places Officer at Arena Pharmaceuticals, a public, biopharmaceutical company that delivers novel, transformational medicines with operational hubs in San Diego, CA, Boston, MA and Zug, Switzerland.

Suzanne has more than twenty years of global experience focused scaling and integrating the business and people strategies to enhance organizational performance. Drawing from her corporate and consulting experience with companies ranging from early-stage, entrepreneurial enterprises to large, public multi-nationals across multiple industries, including biopharma, medical device, software, data science, and semiconductor, Suzanne is a respected business partner, leader, and trusted advisor. She understands today’s most important human capital imperative -organizations must evolve their people and culture practices to effectively anticipate and adapt to the demands of a rapidly changing workforce.

Suzanne holds a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University and a Certification in Human Resources Management from the University of California, San Diego. In addition, for the past10+ years she has helped the next generation develop as a lecturer (adjunct professor) at San Diego State University where she teaches Total Rewards in the Fowler School of Management.
