Christine Buleri has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from University of California San Diego, with coursework focused on structural dynamics and nonlinear simulations. She has 18 years of industry experience performing detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for optical systems including telescopes, payloads, and instruments for both land and space. Since joining Quartus in 2004, she helped develop many in-house tools for integrated opto-mechanical analysis including predictions for Structural, Thermal and Optical Performance (STOP), jitter, WFE, and stress using both linear and nonlinear techniques. She currently leads a team of nearly 30 analysis engineers supporting structural, thermal, computational fluid dynamics, and STOP simulations.
